Missions at Bear Creek Church
As Jesus left his disciples here on earth, He left them (and us) with this mandate:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
Every member at BCC is expected to seek out ways to embrace this commission in their relationship with Christ. The Evangelism and Missions teams try to provide opportunities to help our congregation reach out to our local community and “to the ends of the earth”.
Bear Creek Church also financially supports 26 field staff who work on our behalf around the world. Our congregation is encouraged to become aware of the ministry of at least a few of these dear brothers and sisters, and to pray for them regularly.
